i didn't follow the show that much cause i'm in campus. i only surf the net once in a while to check who's eliminated and who sucks and stuff like that.
for the finale as i expected my favorite contestant esther was in the top 3 and i am really hoping that she's gonna win.
tomok is supposed to go home on the night of the finale but thanks to the big-hearted voters tomok got a second chance.
i didn't watch the show so i don't know their progress, but they say esther did not do very well and was too over the top while aweera seems like a clone of already established rocker in malaysia, that left tomok who capture the hearts of voters with his sincerity in singing.
as we all know, he took home (well, not really) 1 million ringgit but media prime decided to manage that money for tomok, which was what they planned in the first place...

anyway, congratulations tomok. give a listen to tomok's new single 'rindu terhenti'.

so... another week of my weird life.

you know life in my uni is not that boring, so this weekend we got a special activity, it's actually a campaign, anti-corruption one called 'sik mok rasuah'. ok SMR is a native sarawak malay word which if i translate it to english it will goes like this 'i don't want corruption' - simple.

there's a lot of activities like aerobic... - what does it have to do with corruption anyway. bla,bla,bla and stuff. we're treated to free caffeine and the best part is i won a goodie bag after answering a simple query from the BPR.

the climax is the closing ceremony, where we cheers to win, fortunately allamanda collegians is absent so it's a losing egg throw for them.

all in all the reason why i join this campaign is to get a stamp which is required for me to stay in my beloved college... but the best part is ... i get to cheer for bunga raya, yeah!!

it's 2nd week in unimas, i guess already lost count of it. so we have this 'senggang' which is compulsory and it's like 'gerko' in your primary school, still don't get it ok, it's like an extra-curricular activities for student.

the dillema is... there's so many club that i wanna join but i don't wanna join like everything like i have all the time in the world.

the first club that i'm interested in is 'de'orator'; it's like a debate club but then my friend told me that i should throw my ass in the same club as his.

so there it goes... he wants me to join BAYU (choir music in the background please, aaa...). This club has a very interesting rep but i don't wannna join a club filled with fab and glam.

so both of us agreed to join this new club under the 'faculty of creative and applied art' called 'kelab apresiasi muzik'. finally we have a club.

[one week have passed...]

the first thing i saw is a poster that said; all the members of kelab apresiasi muzik please gather at 'lantai bayu' (you guessed it, lantai bayu is like the bayu club house).

bad or good, kelab apresiasi muzik is dismantled (sorry can't find the right word). so i have to join bayu... not fair, person like me is destined to be in a glam club...

it's been awhile since i last posted anything here, my bad. i'm busy with all my assignments and stuff like that.

besides, access to the net is so limited that i have to skip months (3 months to be exact) posting my blog. i love my blog, i like to blog and that's what i'm gonna do until the end of time where internet is no longer the 'in' thing.

back to the scoop, so the first week in unimas is orientation day. i'm in kolej bunga raya which is one of the best college in unimas (two years in a row to win the 'piala malam rumpun budaya' and got a good rep in co-curriculum).

so i was assigned to this group which i called 'sixth sense' (we are group 6 so that name makes sense), everyone say 'yes' so i'm cool with that.

then, we have this 'ldk' stuff in our faculty i bet you don't wanna know bout it.

the best part is we have this competition where we have to dance and cheer to impress the judge, and we win (yay!!!!).

so we have to represent our college, conflicts happened and stuff but we managed to get second place and make the 'bunga rayan' proud (1st place last year 2nd this year, yeah they should be 'proud').

so one week is over, hopefully the next week gon' be good.

P/S: I managed to fill the blue form, where we have to ask for signature from the liaison officer,etc. i give myself a pat on the back.

i was introduced to the still good ol' nokia 7610 as handphone 'daun' cos of it's leaf-like shape.

7610 is nokia's effort to produce a fashionable handphone, until this post is posted nokia 7610 is still a favorite and the still pricey (the cheapest i've seen is about 580++).

so nokia 7610 supernova is like the slimmer sister of nokia 7610, both of them might have the same name but the latter is much2 better in design.

okay so i'm officially gonna leave sabah for a couple of years (or maybe more...). i'm going to sarawak to continue my study.

i'm gonna miss the house in tenom... tenom is just a small town but we have KFC, 7-Eleven and our own broadway/theater show team called sentara.

hopefully, i'd get a good room-mate this time that won't judge me negatively... i hate that!

i already packed my stuff but i'm not sure that i've packed everything essential, i always forgot to packed like one thing and i'm gonna screwed up.

i never thought that the color of my eyes is actually brown, the whole time i thought it was black.

i never knew it cos i never look at my eyes, like examining it. i come to know this when i take my travel document from the immigration and they wrote the color of my eyes as brown.

i read this magazine a long time ago and it mentioned that black eyes doesn't exist. then where the hell did those black eyed peas got their name.

this is a new thing that i learned about myself, did you know that?

P/S: just a few hours after posting this, i found out that black eyed peas is actually a type of vegetable that's related to green peas.

i also found out that jay z and i were related cos we have the same eye color. don't believe me? then you have to give 'brown eyes' by destiny's child a listen.

I actually take hair advice from celeb like ms. duff

for the sake of entering UNIMAS i wasted my money for a box of gatsby dye (worth 20.00), special shampoo (actually it's sunsilk but hey sunsilk got ther own TV show!),constant hair treatment, etc.

i have to dye my oh-so-fab reddish brown hair to black... again !

red hair costs me about RM50++

black hair... priceless cos if i don't dye it, I'd die instead.

i've been to; growball cinema hall 8

the hell new hall 8

recently, i went to growball to watch a movie, so when we booked the ticket i was asked to choose my seat.

fyi, i like to sit at the most front and i never had pain in the neck, but when i was gonna chose the seat i was like , 'what the...' cos the arrangement is so different than usualand there were more seats.

a little bit shocked i choose a seat in the middle. so, we went to the movie hall and i'm like ' where the heck is this hall 8'.

there's a signboard that point to hall 8. so downstairs I go and was again, shocked cos the hall is not there, you have to walk like 10 metres to actually see the entrance.

then i know that this hall is a new addition to the already there halls in growball, it actually looks like the stage where gabriella and troy sang the ...soaring...flying... in high school musical but smaller tho.

there's a stage in front of the huge screen. a diamond cut lights were on the floor of the stage, it reminds me of my nokia 7500 prism (yeah...).

as usual the surround system boasted by growball is also featured in hall 8 so i was constantly shake whenever the sound boom the whole place.

whenever you got a chance, check out hall 8 brand new in growball.

'renjis', an episode with a serious issues

for those who had been living in the cave for the past few months, 'renjis' is a series by 'amc production' broadcasted in astro ria (CH104) starred by elyana, ashraff sinclair, syed ali, sherry ibrahim, ashraf muslim, and liza abdullah.

when i said serious issue, it's not about the triangle love between the characters kirana, dean, and rafik.

for this week's episode (25 june) kirana got a task to handle an interracial marriage between a malay girl and a convert-chinese boy.

the chinese man named joshua ng is a chinese who had converted to muslim but refused to change his name and wear 'baju melayu' for his wedding, for he believed that you're still a true muslim no matter what you're wearing or what your name is.

problem surfaced when dayana's (the bride) father a conventional malay hates joshua's idealism but of course in the end they got married though...

this episode shows naiveness of some people that believed to convert to muslim is to become malay.

then dayana's ex boyfriend a psycho who resent joshua, throw the s-bomb to joshua. he is frustated because a chineseboy being chosen by dayanabut not him.

in the end, everything goes well. butik sri andaman had saved another wedding. at last the wedding become a fusion between chinese and malay. sweet!

p/s: i'm not rying to be offensive here, just saying my thought about this issue.

smesh teacher's day '08 a.k.a form 5 2006 reunion

last week (12 june), we were invited to the smesh teacher's day to celebrate well, teachers, workers etc.

day one

before that, i went to the movies and 'the incredible hulk' is premiering. 'is it a good movie?' you asked me, then you have to read my review.

let's move on.

surprisingly not everyone was changing since we met like a year ago. rennie is now a hotelier.

in smesh, everyone was growing up, my juniors is much,much bigger than me. thanks to the new 'dewan makan' they don't have to drink mosquitoes-flavored drinks which i blamed for stunting my growth.

the guys are hairier than before, some are spotted with hair on their once smooth face. some turned out to be the king of p***, some looked fairer than ever, some got lump added to their physique.

we spend the day talking about our outs and bouts, while the girls are watching dvd at their hostel the guys talked about some stuff girls don't have to know. i showed my new talent - lap dance and shuffling.

meanwhile i take the chance to share my knowledge with all of them which i actually regret because now people might think i'm a s** a*****.

we sleep at 3am, due to the poor management we have to sleep packed like tuna in the can. imagine 4 mattresses 12 guys with 3 pillows.

day two

8 am everyone has to be in the school hall for the function to begin. teachers,principal, workers, students and the guys are inside - no sign of the girls.

the event is opened by a french ala cabaret dance by the dancers of smesh.

the girls arrived a few minutes later, claiming their dvd marathon to be the cause of their lateness.

the event is simple, like the one you have when you're celebrating teachers. performances from new teachers and a show by the winner of teacher singing competition by mr.joachim.

the performances by the students catch my interest cos i think it's brilliant and simple.

then the principal (our bonda) give out her farewell speech. tears were spotted.

no food for us, who's fault is that?

we thought we'll be served with some foods but it turned out that we won't be getting free meal, thanks to that particular person we have to pay for our food.

then we met the teachers, unsurprisingly i was forgotten by most of the teachers. norizan sensei and mr. marzuki will always be in my heart.

ashrena, ethel and fazidah showed up as glamorous as they can be. ratna got some dramatic eyes. tatum is as cool as she is.

to wrap up the day we shoot a group picture with bonda.

it's time to go home

I've watched this summer not so anticipated movie and I'd like to say the plot is simple not as complicated as Ang Lee's version. Edward Norton is not a bad actor and what a nice pair of green eyes he has.

This movie has more action than the previous Hulk movie, except that those action is almost fully computer generated which wouldn't leave that much impression. I don't know why Tim Roth had to be the other Hulk, I mean he's way too old (he's mentioned 40 in the movie)to be the villain, what drives an old soldier to be a dumb Hulk with huge spines and shrinking groin?

Thanks to Mexican-Bargain-Market-Stretchable-Trousers Dr. Bruce Banner don't have to be worried about wardrobe malfunction or exposing his ***** whenever he turns mad and green.

The Incredible Hulk is not so incredible but perfect for fans of this comic character who wants to see action than emotion cos the only emotion you got is angry.

david cook wins american idol

david cook, a texan native was announced the latest american idol. he get harsher comments compare to the other david (archuleta). simon cowell thought it doesn't matter whoever wins this time cause both davids showed their determination in this competition. the final result show was a show packed with performances from george michael whom ryan seacrest addressed as GM. the interesting part is the show featured singers that making their comeback. there's also a video of singing jack black, robert downey jr. , and ben stiller.

P/S: i always thought david cook will be the next idol. he's my choice.

stanly 's (af6) mum passed away

weeks before this, af6 exposed the condition of stanly's mum which is critical. stanly was flew to sarawak from peninsular to visit her mom.
in diari akademi fantasia, ramli ms announced to the remaining contestant, that stanly's mum had passed away. the students give their condolences to stanly.
there might be no show-biz activities for stanly in the few upcoming weeks to respect him and his family.
stanly was the 9th student to be eliminated from the show. he was cut just a week before the finale.
i hope stanly will remain strong and happy as he's before.

akademi fantasia 6; stanly swan song

last night, it's all about who's going to the final. apparently, ac mizal's attempt to surprised the audience doesn't really work out.
of course we know nadia was on the bottom last week but this week when toi was announced to be in the final, i all along know that it was stanly who get the boot.

some judge talk slow, some judge talk trash

afdlin shauki was one of the judge on last night concert, he give comments by talking slowly, but ogy was trash talking when she said that stacy's performance has low energy. apparently, she said that nadia's so-so performance was full of energy.

some rock, other just flop

toi proved to the judges that he deserve to be in the final. he has improved a lot as told by judge ning baizura. nubhan give a good performance when he managed to keep it cool regardless of a few vocal slackness. sadly, riz doesn't rock the clock last night.

faizal, aizat, velvet, and sahri sang a medley song written by loloq as a tribute to the songwriter who passed away early this year.

if there's an elimination last week, nadia will be out. but as i said earlier even in this level stanly failed to impress. i hoped he won't regret his decision to not play the piano. check back for the finale recap.

have you ever recieved a text message on your mobile phone that freaks you out, watch the movie 'one missed call' for reference.

recently, people had received weird message from unknown number telling them that something really bad's gonna happen.

i haven't got it yet but my close friend does, it was send by an unknown number which when you try to call all you got is the operator's voice.

it causes havoc at my local town, the message is very creepy even for a sceptic like me, here's a sample of the sms, it's actually written in malay but i translate it to reduce its level of freakiness.

tonight the 666 chips satellite will be launched to space.effective this 11pm, all SIM cards must be removed from your cell phone and must be keep away until morning because tonight 'ANTIKRIS' will launched the chips 666 satellite. it will find its way into your phone. don't accept any sms or call from axis number with the initial 0866 or 0838. when the the caller's number started to turn red the phone must be shut and don't ever accept it or else you'll be doomed. 2 american had died to date.

there's also another similar version of the message typed in capital letters

yes, it's only a week before finale where the davids (archuleta and cook) battle their voice to be the next american idol. my vote goes to david cook but i think this year the younger ones rule but there's only one way to find out, we have to watch the finale next week... but before that here's a quick look at the 10 contestants who didn't make it to the final... in the order of elimination

david hernandez
he completes the david trio, he got the package, i mean he got the voice, the look and the move. unfortunately, he got a reputation as a stripper thus making him the first one to be cut. who wants to idolised a stripper anyway.

amanda overmyer
she's one contestant that i look forward to but again, the controversy that surrounds her which is most of it are negatives pushing her out of the contest. she's also not as versatile as the other hopefuls.

chikezie eze
he actually impressed me in his audition but as the real competition started he started to show weakness in his singing and also in his style (remember the coke inspired red suite he's waring back in the first top12 guys week).

ramiele malubay
she's one of my fave, if i compare her to jasmine triasse i think ramiele is better vocal-wise but wrong choice of songs often make her failed to present. she got a big voice but not very convincing thus she's eliminated when she appeared first time in the bottom two.

michael johns
initially, i thought michael rely a lot on his looks to get votes but i was proved wrong when he sings we are the champion/we will rock you. but this aussie hunks was, i think too old to be an idol (he's going to be as old as ryan seacrest next year).

kristy lee cook
she's one contestant you like to hate besides kady malloy, she's been in the bottom two for a couple and more weeks but managed to survived. she proved to simon that she's unforgettable and even got a chance to say it to simon's face when she's eliminated (who can't forget her when she sings to simon while sitting on the judge's table). kristy lee cook is a stunning tomboy but again being in the bottom two for several times can't guaranteed your future in idol.

i was shocked to see her go home because during that week (the theater week) she managed to get praise from all the judges, she even prepared a shirt to show her gratitude if simon cowell is impressed. then i thought, this happens to other contestant from previous season too, when you already had an album pre-idol voters started to think that you had to give a chance to people that's new to this industry.

brooke white
one of my fave, cos she's down, she's real and stuff. causing controversy when he asks the music director to stopped due to his failure to remember the first couple words of madonna's you must loved me. brooke white is also a common landers in the bottom two so her elimination is just a matter of time, really.

jason castro
everytime he sings i yawned... i don't know why i hate him so much, it's not because of that hair i think. i'm glad syesha survived instead of him, glad he forgot the lyrics...

she's an actress/singer. she scores great in few songs but also got a few boos and was criticised for not being her in some of her performances.

akademi fantasia 6, all wrapped up! (almost)

yes, akademi fantasia has entered its 9th week, hopefully this week we'll see one student (or maybe two...) get the boot after the 8th week concert give all of the 6 remaining contestant a free pass to advance. to celebrate the coming finale, here's a recap on the concert of akademi fantasia from week 1 to week 8.

week 1
too bad, though she is featured in 'diari af' for some technichal problem she made, yana who sings 'diriku tapak sulaiman' by elyana was the first one to be eliminated from af.

week 2
changing song is the decision ika should regret. the song 'malu tapi mahu' is not in her range. saved from last week elimination but unfortunately she became the second girl to leave.

week 3
it's the rock week where the students have to prove that they can handle this genre. most of the students got thumbs down. lufya's singing and disney princess inspired dress fail to save her from being cut. then, naim get the boot as he become the other victim of this double elimination round.

week 4
he's been warned, but faisal impressed ramli ms' by giving a slightly better peformance unfortunately the voters had lost their trust.

week 5
despite of the havoc that surround her as siti nurhaliza's sister,saida's constant non-believeable performance fail to keep her fanbase voting.

week 6
she had strong performances in the previous week. but people thought she's too 'mature' to stay in af. rina who had caused controversies when af 6 had started become the next to go home.

week 7
he's one (and maybe only) of the good looking male contetsant in af 6, he managed to maintain his position on the top during the previous weeks but as he was struggling from a serious injury, fan started to judge him, thus alif became the one that's leaving the large stage of istana budaya.

week 8
it's a week full of drama... nubhan and riz failed to impress but managed to gain votes as they both become the top two. nadia who was i the bottom was saved from elimination when ac announced that the week is a non-elimination week.

i don't remember this episode cos i didn't watch it.

this time the teams went to new zealand, bla bla drama, it involves stupid car scratching, some mud moment, breakdown, girl catfights etc.

the important thing is the hong kong all girl team was send home for being late... ha ha ha.

as with the previous elimination, Aurelia & Sophie hit an hours of operation problem. They don’t even get to attempt the first task. Not that getting gas in the car didn’t prove challenging enough for them. Both of them blame each other for the loss.

What's more, the have to eat eel in this lag of race.
the first team to arrived is Pam and Van from malaysia (yay!) and the last team to arrive is edwin and monica from hong kong. fortunately it's the first nonelimination round phew !!!

Another talent based reality show entering its second season with audition held at KK and KL this season boasts for more talented finalists.
one in a million (oiam) featured judges like syafinaz and paul moss (malaysian idol). hosted by marion and awal, this show boasts uniqueness with its high prize stake including 1 million dollar. anyone can enter this competition as long as you're not tone deaf.
last season, suki brings home the millionaire title. the special thing about this show is that it features established singer (in the 1st season dayang nurfaizah is one of the top 4 finalists).
i just can't wait to see the new hopefuls.

saleisha is the america's next top model

And lo, another season of America"s Next Top Model has come to pass, much in the same vein of seasons past. Yes, it"s formula finale time, as the three remaining contestants struggle their way through a Cover Girl commercial and ad that has something to do with fruit and spritzing and lip gloss. Chantal seems to have her lines down the best, while Jenah struggles and almost needs cue cards. Saleisha also has a hard time nailing her lines, and actually has to take a moment to cry without messing up her eye makeup. Just like Tyra told her to! Imagine that. The first elimination of the episode is super-awkward, as both of the other girls name Jenah as the model with the least potential, and the panel totally makes her cry and elicits some mama issues after she says that the fact that she isn"t spewing rainbows doesn"t mean that she"s not a happy person. She gets eliminated, but wins the real prize of climbing that metaphorical wall and getting to know the self that"s on the other side. Or something like that. Saleisha and Chantal are thus the final two, and have a Seventeen photo shoot before embarking on their final runway challenge. As for the final runway show, Top Model apparently took advantage of the cheap Chinese labor and hired 500 extras to, like, either sit around and pray to the sun or stand around on lead-painted stilts as the girls walk. Sadly, this meant that there was only enough money left over to hire three people to be in the audience. The clothes are truly gorgeous, though. Saleisha Tootie-stomps her way down the catwalk, while Chantal gets tripped up when one of the guys on stilts gets caught on her train and falls down boom. In the end, it is as we all grimly suspected, and Saleisha takes home the crown. We can only hope that she finds as much success as Naima in her burgeoning modeling career.

bianca's booted back

It"s the penultimate episode of the season! Heather is gone, and the others don"t miss her. Jenah is getting stressed, psyched out, and homesick, which doesn"t bode well. The others maintain their focus, with Bianca ready to cut a bitch to get into the final three, Chantal still convinced that modeling is her density, and Saleisha roller skating right along. As promised, the girls head to Beijing, where they get a lesson in four great Chinese beauties from Twiggy and Miss J. They think it"s another culturally irrelevant snoozefest, until they"re given the beauties" outfits to modernize and catwalk-ize. They get $200 and a trip to the mall, and are instructed to stay true to the story of their beauty. Bianca exhibits her stankest move yet as she sends Jenah on a wild Peking duck chase across the street, whence she has just come and found absolutely zilch. Jenah is mad, but she still manages to win the challenge. Yay! I love when stank Bianca is foiled. Jenah and her chosen friend, Chantal, get Chinese couture dresses made just for them. Or, it appears, altered just for them. Jenah also gets a one-on-one runway lesson with Miss J., who actually seems to give her some good tips. The week"s photo shoot takes place at the Great Wall, where the girls get to be the Mongols and Barbarians that they secretly are inside. Tyra is the photographer, which brings out some extra nerves in Jenah. Saleisha jumps in her shoot, and is treated like she"s the second coming of Jesus. Or Tyra. The girls also do a photo together, and Bianca wants to kill Saleisha for getting her bun all up in Bianca"s grille. At panel, Jenah breaks down a bit as she talks about being homesick and being a role model for her sisters. The judges wonder if she really wants to be there, and if she can hack it. Conversely, the judges are sure that Bianca wants to be there, but don"t know if there"s time for her to embark on the very extended learning curve that she needs. They land in the bottom two. In the end, the fact that Bianca is really fun to have around isn"t enough to save her, and she"s booted back to Queens.

heather heads home

It"s go-see time! The girls head to PT Models Shanghai, which is potentially located in a Motel 6, where they get their instructions, along with a driver and a translator. Heather is nervous, noting that she has a tendency to have "a little problem with first impressions." And also a tendency toward understatement. Though their translators help with directions, once the girls step out of the cab, they"re on their own. You would think that being dropped off outside of the building where they must go would lead to a high success rate, but then you wouldn"t be forgetting that Heather is still in the competition. She wanders around for a long time before actually making it to her first go-see, and once she"s there, the designer calls for eye contact. Bad times. She then ends up actually losing her driver and is pretty much a hopeless case. Saleisha and Bianca overlap on a go-see, and Saleisha deviously pleads ignorance when Bianca asks about the location of another designer that Saleisha has already seen. Turns out the designer is just a few floors up in the same building, and Saleisha"s bitchery is duly noted. Jenah, who is getting pissed about her perceived lack of personality, thinks she"s the best model ever, no matter what anyone else, including designers, tell her. Chantal learns an important lesson about underwear, and she, Jenah, and Heather learn that Shanghai traffic can be a bitch. They are disqualified for being late, which leaves Saleisha and Bianca as the only two challenge contenders. Delightfully, it"s Bianca who wins and sees her face on a boat billboard for the Beijing Olympics. The photo shoot for the week has the girls struggling to stand out amidst a busy backdrop. The fact that Nigel is the photographer doesn"t make things any easier, particularly for Jenah, whose sarcastic attempts at humor irk everyone, including Mr. Barker himself. She gets a bit of abuse for her arrogance and lack of charm at panel, where she lands in the bottom two with Heather. In a real shocker, Jenah gets the photo and Heather gets the Asperboot. Ultimately, I think it"s a cruel-to-be-kind sort of deal, but watching her hunch like Lurch out of the door of the Shanghai penthouse is still pretty sad

lost in translation, lisa leap back home

The girls head to the bright lights and big city of Shanghai, where they act pretty much exactly the same way they did back in L.A. When the six girls are faced with a five-bed penthouse suite, there is a bit of ganging up on Heather, who is more than a little upset at being bedless. To avoid a scenario like last week"s infamous shower scene, Chantal intervenes, and Bianca and Jenah agree to share the big bed so that Heather doesn"t have to sleep in the hallway. The challenge for the week sees the girls learning some martial arts maneuvers, much to Heather"s delight. When they learn that they"ll have to pose on a wire, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon-style, most of the girls are pretty excited. Bianca, however -- who has a fear of heights that we hadn"t yet heard about -- kind of freaks out and ends up being disqualified when she refuses to continue to be airborne. Heather emerges victorious, and she and Chantal get a Shanghai shopping spree. The photo shoot for the week is a combination print ad/commercial for the Cover Girl Queen Collection. The girls get a script to memorize, and also get to ad lib a line about what makes each of them a queen. Too bad the Jays didn"t get to film one of these, too. No one is especially outstanding performing in the commercial, but Chantal and Saleisha rise to the top of the pack, such as it is. Bianca and Jenah get have several takes, and Jenah"s teeth have never looked more enormous. Heather totally sucks and has to be fed all her lines, one by one. Miraculously, she still sucks, though her photo turns out well. Lisa looks frightened, frightening, and miserable the whole time, and is continuously on the verge of tears. There"s nothing easy, breezy, or beautiful about that. The real standout is the guy who yells "Quiet on the set" in Chinese. Where"s his Seventeen cover shoot? Judging sees Heather getting a harsh critique, and she and Lisa land in the bottom two. In the end, Lisa gets sent back to the pole all broken-down and busted.

ambreal is stranded away

This week, Top Model tries to fool you into thinking you"re actually watching the Project Runway premiere as the girls find themselves becoming muses for fashion design students. Each girl has a Bea Arthur-approved powder blue "80s suit that is turned into a fashion-forward garment inspired by her personality. The girls then participate in a runway show in which they have to model said garment in front of a small audience and give a three-sentence speech about what makes them so muse-like. In what I"m sure is a huge shock, Heather has some problems with speaking in front of people, and it really gets her down. Back at home, she takes out her frustrations on the rest of the girls when she calls the shower first, but Saleisha and Lisa dart in before her. Likely traumatized by the time Bianca cut in line for the phone, Heather decides to take a stand. The real mystery here is why everyone showers together and/or hangs out in the bathroom while other people are showering. It"s like a Porky"s 3 fantasy. Let"s hope Heather doesn"t drop the soap. In the end, Heather kind of goes off, and the other girls are a little freaked out by her, and also a little tired of her. I myself am tired of hearing the word "fustrated." The photo shoot for the week finds the girls stranded in the desert, posing with a burning car. It"s all good times until Jenah"s weave goes up Michael Jackson-style. No, no, just kidding. But how awesome would that have been? If there ever was a weave that deserved to be incinerated, that one is it. While Bianca, Chantal, Jenah, and Saleisha sparkle Death Valley-style, Heather, Lisa, and Ambreal struggle to show off their sequined mini-dresses and look annoyed and hot all at the same time. At judging, a very colorful Chinese dragon-lion prances around the room and lets the girls know that the six who make it through judging will be going to Shanghai. Ambreal, however, will have to enjoy some General Tso"s stateside, because she finally gets the axe.

she ain't heavy she's not a model, sarah's swan song

This week is all about modeling in front of a moving camera -- i.e., how to be a video ho. Or, according to teacher Tyra, a video model. Her master class sees the girls wearing nude leotards, much to the chagrin of retinas everywhere, and she imparts several important lessons to keep you on the correct side of the model/ho line. To wit, when you slide down a wall, your legs should be more or less closed, and when you crawl across the floor, you slide your knees rather than pick them up. It is a line as thin as one fine hair from Tyra"s wig, but we have no choice but to go with it. There are a few recurring themes throughout the episode. The first is that Bianca really likes to talk trash about Heather. Her basic issue is that people baby Heather, and even the judges cut her a lot of slack and hold back on their criticism of her. Like all of Bianca"s verbalizations, it"s stank with a grain of truth. The second theme is that Chantal thinks she"s really, really awesome. I mean, she thinks she"s even awesomer than she previously told us, which is kind of hard to believe. The third theme is that this show has totally given Sarah body image issues. She"s really down on herself, and feels too fat and too thin all at once. The girls get to put all of their new knowledge to use when they partake in a video shoot for Enrique Iglesias"s new single. Lisa gets picked for a little feature bit, to the disappointment of the others. It"s apparently because she"s really tall and has the right look, and has nothing to do with any stripper skills she picked up along the way, because that would be ho-ish. The video"s vampire theme also favors Heather, and so she gets a featured part as well. However, it all proves to be a bit too much for her, and after being on the hot and sweaty shoot all day with no food, she briefly passes out and requires some on-set medical attention. Some oxygen and a banana later, she"s good to go. At panel, Lisa and Heather get kudos for their work, Ambreal is in the middle, much to her delight, and Jenah learns the lesson that she"s not always perfect. However, it"s Chantal and Sarah who are in the final two, with Sarah sent home to deal with her newfound eating disorder on her own.

think before you go, ebony's recycled home

This week is all about spokesmodeling and recyclable materials. Two great tastes that taste great together, I always like to say. Model Tyson Beckford comes to the house and makes the girls serve as spokesmodels for items from the kitchen. The word "moist" is used much too much for my liking. Tyson takes a bite out of Ambreal"s mango, and that is not a euphemism. Heather drops the Asperger"s act long enough to ride Tyson"s jock for a little while and to look especially pretty and not at all awkward throughout the episode. The girls then put their spokesmodel skills to use as they divide into teams of three and create PSAs for Keep A Child Alive, the organization behind the "I am African" ads. Everyone kind of effs up, and Heather, Jenah, and Ambreal win, somewhat inexplicably. While Jenah and Ambreal get gift baskets, Heather is randomly drawn to do a photo shoot for beauty product company Carol"s Daughter. The shoot is photographed by Matthew Rolston and art directed by Mary J. Blige, but the extent of Mary J."s art directing seems to be the suggestion that Heather get a tan. I guess she took the whole "no more drama" thing to heart. Nonetheless, she"s really nice to Heather and even begrudgingly lets Heather hug her. In a little closet slumber party, Ebony shocks the other girls by telling them she wants to go home. She means it, yo. The week"s photo shoot is all about high-fashion recycling, which luckily does not mean that anyone has to wear Tyra"s old Victoria"s Secret shelf bralette. Rather, they each are representing a recyclable material. Heather, as aluminum cans, goes face-on to prove herself to the judges. Saleisha, quite hilariously, is "car parts." Bianca has learned to smile with her eyes, which gets big ups from Jay and the panel, while Ambreal has apparently forgotten how to model. At panel, Nigel wears one of Miss J."s old fros, which is at least better than wearing one of Miss J."s old jock straps. Unsurprisingly, it"s Ebony and Ambreal in the final two. However...shocker! Tyra hands Ebony a photo, but Ebony tells her she doesn"t want to be there. Tyra gives a self-righteous speech about quitters before turning everything around so that it was fate that Ambreal stayed in the competition. We end the episode with a bit from Ebony"s casting video, which is I guess supposed to prove that she was a big waste of time, but really just demonstrates how much the show broke her spirit.

janet is waxed off

I know it's been awhile since i last updated my blog but who cares about it anyway. In this episode the girls are trained how to pose in the mid air by guess who... benny ninja ( he's a regular in this cycle... beware miss j). janet was awkward and ambreal is the best since she is a dancer.
then the girl is challenged to pose in an ice skating ring where antm past winner danielle is a judge. Her accent is much much better cos it ain't sound hood anymore.
Once again, janet awkwardness slammed her while ambreal unsurprisingly do better but the challenge is won by lisa.
at the next photo shoot the girl had to be a gargoyle on top of an l.a. skyscraper. Ambreal who is afraid of height had to struggle in the photo shoot.
In the judging room, ambreal and janet was in the bottom two for their worst pictures respectively.
Unfortunately, janet was eliminated.

victoria's manners sends her packing

It"s makeover time! And with it come all the questionable color choices, tears, and bad weaves that you"ve grown to expect. While some of the girls, and particularly Heather, stay pretty much the same, Jenah gets the rat-weaved albino treatment, Saleisha gets a Louise Brooks bob that looks like a puffy Dorothy Hamill Halloween wig, and Ebony has the weave that was rubber-cemented to her forehead removed and replaced with a long Naomi Campbell "do. And then there"s Bianca. She"s slated to go blonde, but her hair has such damage that Jay decides to shave it all off instead and give her a wig to use at her leisure. This is the beginning of Bianca"s high-fashion ass-whoopin", as she is depressed and feels ugly for some time, resulting in a distinct lack of conflict in the house. Really, though, she looks so much better with no hair, I can"t even tell you. The girls endure a makeup challenge facilitated by Nigel"s wife, which Sarah wins. She also does well at this week"s photo shoot, which has the girls made up to look like various flowers. Despite her weave, Jenah prevails once again with a really awesome shot. Heather also overcomes her Elphaba-green makeup and gets in a great shot as a weed. Chantal gets the easy assignment of being baby"s breath, but actually turns into a baby when Jay and the photographer give her conflicting advice. Ebony has a great photo, but her stiff demeanor at judging concerns the panel. Her personality flaws, however, are nothing compared to Victoria, who takes umbrage when Twiggy calls her prickly. Much like her celebrity twin, Tom Petty, Twiggy won"t back down and Victoria learns the hard way that you just don"t mess with the Twigs. After landing in the bottom two with Saleisha, Victoria is sent home. If you"re like me, it will also give you great pleasure to note that this doesn"t seem to dismay her one bit.

kimberly can't take a still

This week"s show is all about runway and rock climbing, which I find to be a refreshing alternative to face tumors and stillborn babies. The girls enter what appears to be a really spooky building brimming with the supernatural, and learn that they are actually in Nurse J."s Fashion Madhouse. Sadly, there are no ghosts. But the girls do get a walking lesson as they outfit themselves in straitjackets and heels and prance down a deserted hall that was once inhabited by mental patients (insert Vincent Price "Thriller" laugh here). Bianca, unsurprisingly, feels quite at home in her straitjacket. Look for Hillary Clinton to swipe this in the democratic presidential debates. Roy Campbell of fabulous ghetto fashion shows past and designer Colleen Quen lead the girls through their challenge -- a real live couture fashion show! With an actual audience! That isn"t composed of shoppers from the Salvation Army! Saleisha is declared the winner, and gets to walk the runway in Colleen Quen"s debut Paris fashion week show. Bianca is FUMING. The photo shoot for the week involves a rock-climbing wall, edgy makeup, and lots of leggings. Heather impresses everyone, as does Jenah. Ebony still has trouble getting her groove, and Bianca impresses Tyra but not the rest of the judges. She lands in the final two along with Kimberly, who anyone who has seen this show twice could tell was going home within the first minute of the episode. Kimberly has only the fact that Tyra has a weird fetish about her ears to get her through the long, dark night of being the second girl booted. Meanwhile, Victoria is totally gunning for Twiggy, and the judges know it.

The thirteen finalists make their way to their new house in their new, environmentally green vehicle. Tyra has apparently decided that this season is all about modeling with a message, and the first message is that, like, bad stuff is happening to the earth that is making it more worser and stuff. To that end, look for Al Gore to be a guest panelist in Episode Five. The second message has to do with smoking. Smoking, in case you haven"t heard, is really bad for you. The girls do a double shoot in which they look all pretty and smoky on one side, but their reflection in a mirror shows them suffering from many of the medical ills or side effects that result from smoking. This means that we see girls variously sporting a tracheotomy hole, a face tumor, and burns all over the face, among other afflictions. And, you know, I get the whole "debatable beauty" bit, but I would bet you $20,000 that you are certainly not going to see a tracheotomy hole in a Chanel ad. Mila thinks that her lack of hair from chemotherapy is a riot. It is, if you"re an idiot. After the shoot, Bianca and Lisa get into a bit of a row, which reaches its peak when Bianca brings up the fact that America"s Next Top Model might not give lap dances in a bikini. The two make shaky amends later, but Bianca admits to us that she only pretended to be cool so that her nasty behavior wouldn"t come up at panel. Bee. Yotch. Saleisha wins points for having the best personal style in an Old Navy clothing challenge, and her prizes include an appearance in an Old Navy ad and a $1,000 shopping spree at the store. That will buy approximately 20,000 pairs of ill-fitting pants. Heather"s social awkwardness comes into play as she feels like a bit of an outcast, and no wonder, as a lot of the girls talk about how weird she is behind her back. I have to say that seeing her sad made me really sad. She seems like a nice girl. She sticks it to the other bitches, though, when she"s called first at panel! Woo! Ebony, meanwhile, is totally not a bitch! She tries to keep it cool so the other girls don"t hate her, and ends up sort of screwing herself modeling-wise in the process. You know, because she"s so closed off! She lands in the bottom two with Mila. Happily, the bubblehead is burst, and Mila is sent home. Meanwhile, Tyra announces that it"s a non-smoking season! Ostensibly, this is because she"s taking a stand for health, but I"m sure the fact that it"s going to make some folks go from fun-bitch to bitch-bitch doesn"t hurt either.

Bitches ahoy! We begin the Top Model premiere, as we often do, with the thirty-three semifinalists. This year, they bypass the customary L.A. visit and instead fly to San Juan, where one Miss J. Alexander does his best Captain Stubing imitation and informs them that the semifinals will take place on a giant cruise ship. Okay, so maybe he was a little more Cruise Director Julie than Captain Stubing. You get the drift. After Tyra attempts to revive her singing career showgirl-style, the girls partake in an impromptu runway show on the lido deck, to the endless delight of the other passengers, minus the ones who really wanted a good view of the shuffleboard game. We have some real characters this year, many of whom actually have different afflictions than the contestants in seasons past. At the top of that list is Heather, a self-described insecure nerd girl with a Quasimodo hunch, who has Asperger"s syndrome, a mild form of autism. There is also Marvita, a Grace Jones look-alike from Alaska who has had tons of childhood trauma that Tyra of course makes her talk about to the discomfort of everyone. Victoria goes to Yale, which is affliction enough. Janet is a bikini waxer. Which, ditto. Jennifer from Walpole (represent!) has a ferocious Massachusetts accent and is blind in one eye, Lisa spent years in foster care and is now a "bikini dancer," Ebony is a bitch with a heart of mush whose mom was a crack addict, and Spontaniouse is named Spontaniouse. Aside from Victoria getting a little pukey on the ship and some bitchiness involving Ebony, there really isn"t much drama at all. What I wouldn"t give for a little rum punch in someone"s weave. The girls meet Season 8 winner Jaslene on a beach in Antigua, and have their first photo shoot (in swimwear, natch). Thirteen girls get cut, and actually have to stand at the port and watch the ship sail away without them, like so many dreams deferred. Tyra and the Jays deliberate further about who is model material, and we end up with our final thirteen: Mila, Bianca, Jenah, Chantal, Ambreal, Victoria, Sarah, Saleisha, Kimberly, Ebony, Janet, Heather, Lisa. Marvita has been through so much shit in her life that she"s all, "Whatevs, life isn"t about getting what you want," and doesn"t cry like the other punk-ass girls. Everyone else is, well, a punk-ass, and lots of tears are shed. Next week: Iceberg!

lalu dengan rela hatinya saya pun jadilah konduktor untuk team kami.
kami berlatih seminggu sha siang dan malam sampai ndak sempat makan nasi...bila tiba saat pertandingan semua gabra sampai bergegar kepala lutut...
saya lagi la bagagar... tapi kami ndak dapat masuk final sekadar dapat no. 15 dari 23 pasukan sha... ceh boleh tahan la ba tue...

yeah kml menang koir patriotik... jadi diorang akan represent labuan la...
group koir ni buat audition untuk cari 20-25 orang tambahan... 20 orang! ada harapan ni...
sekalinya malam audition tu kira-kira 40 lebih orang datang dan kebanyakannya yang hebat ni. sekalinya ada announcement yang diorang actually mau 5 orang sha... dush punya kecewa time tue.

tapi harus berusaha, jadi saya pun nyanyi holy night versi kelly. sekali punya bikin malu (argghhh...).

lepas tue ada saringan tapi pakai group, so 2 orang kawan saya join saya kami nyanyi rasa sayang, ada la silap teknik skit2 tapi ndak apa amatur kan...

esok the result comes out untuk callback... sekali da... nama kami tiada, tapi kami tabah menerima kenyataan sebab orang yang datang malam tue semuanya henat2 belaka...

at least, saya ada try kan.

it's already like one month in kml (kolej matrikulasi labuan), banyak sudah ku lalui contohnya perlantikan jpp (dan salah seorang ajk nya is my rakan sekampung),kuiz, dll. banyak betul tekanan yang ku rasa. duit contohnya... banyak barang bah aku mo beli tapi ndak ada duit masalahnya...
baru-baru ni aku sudah melalui proses pertukaran kelas tutorial from H1T7 to H3T27...banyak gak kawan baru yang macam-macam perangai...
lepas tu ada kuiz yang akan masuk dalam pemarkahan...punya kick dapat B+ jak untuk kuiz Bio...

sebenarnya saya dapat tawaran pi uitm samarahan in diploma ukur bahan (apa tu...ntah saya pun tak tahu) tapi memandangkan matriks tu di labuan and chocolate di situ agak murah walaupun rm7 se- bar of coklat tu sebenarnya very expensive for me jadi saya pun choose matrix...
